Our second project for my illustration class. We had to recreate the Wizard of Oz cast. I did the cast as stages of growing up.

The Lion is just a kid who fears this big world.

The Scarecrow is a preteen who still has a lot to learn.

The Tin-man (girl) is a teenager who tries to act tough, heartless, and cold, but is actually quite sensitive.

And the Wizard is a grown woman who is strong and commanding, but is quite gentle with her own children.

I left out Dorothy, because she was a little hard to represent.
